We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Cart Attendant to join our team. The Cart Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cart area and assisting customers when needed. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Duties
Always represent GSOM in a professional manner
Successfully interact with GSOM staff
Knowledge of GSOM yard layout (Will offer training)
Greet customers with appropriate manners
Be attentive to customer needs
Assist customers with carrying plants or pulling carts in the yard
Offer customer assistance with loading all purchases in their vehicle
Keep the yard, patio and parking lot free of empty carts, trash and plant debris
Return carts throughout yard
Requirements
Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating initiative.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Able to repeatedly lift more than 50 pounds
