Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of carpeted, tile, and vinyl flooring surfaces in commercial settings. This role requires expertise in floor care, primarily carpet cleaning and to lesser extent, tile and vinyl. The successful candidate will also assist fellow Forty-First Floor Care Technicians in the completion of larger projects. The Carpet Technician will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and visitors. This position will be 24 to 40 hours per week, with weekends being mandatory.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and annual maintenance of carpet, tile, and vinyl flooring. Conduct cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure high-quality results. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any needs to supervisor. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing all cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment. Respond promptly to any special cleaning requests or emergencies as needed.
Skills

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care practices. Experience in carpet cleaning methods and equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with environmental services standards in commercial cleaning settings. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual capability helpful. Floor stripping and waxes a plus
Requirements

Must have reliable transportation to commute to job locations Physical stamina to perform manual labor Pass a background check and 9 panel drug screen (medicinal cards are not accepted)
Projected Total Compensation: Based on Experience

Work Location: Mostly the greater OKC metro area & occasionally in Southern Oklahoma.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
