We are seeking a dedicated Carpentry Assistant to join our team and expand a newly opened business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for construction and carpentry. Want to be a part of building a new business. This role involves assisting carpenters in a variety of tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. The Carpentry Assistant will work closely with experienced carpenters, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the field.

Responsibilities

Assist in the construction and installation of structures, fixtures, and frameworks using wood, metal, and other materials. Help with trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinet installation tasks. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Participate in flooring installation activities. Perform heavy lifting as required during construction tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Qualifications

No experience is required to apply. Previous experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but NOT mandatory; maintenance person experience is a plus. Knowledge of woodworking techniques is a plus. Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely. Experience with fixture installation, door hanging, caulking, stucco application, and electrical work is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical stamina to perform manual labor including heavy lifting throughout the workday. Excellent problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn .
