BILD is seeking a skilled

Carpenter/Installer/Technician

to join our accessibility solutions team. This hands-on role involves installing and servicing accessibility products, performing carpentry work, and supporting clients with equipment that helps them live safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities

Install and service accessibility equipment such as stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, grab bars, transfer lifts, and automatic door openers. Deliver and set up medical equipment including hospital beds, wheelchairs, and lift chairs. Perform rough and finish carpentry for home modifications. Use diagnostic tools (e.g., voltmeters) to troubleshoot and repair electrical components, in coordination with manufacturers. Provide clear demonstrations of equipment use to clients and caregivers. Safely operate a company vehicle for service calls at client sites. Maintain safe and organized worksites and follow all company safety standards. Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and solve complex service issues.
Qualifications

5+ years of experience in carpentry, installation, or a related trade. Strong mechanical and electrical skills with troubleshooting ability. High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation. Professional communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.

Work Environment

This is a

field-based position

with daily travel to client sites using a company-provided van.
