Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/& Carpenters helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a keen eye for detail. This role involves working on diverse projects, from framing to custom built-ins, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform finished trim work, Sheetrock and spackle work as needed for finishing touches. Install cabinets, doors, windows, and other fixtures with precision. Conduct heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment during construction activities. Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion within deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work. Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working on various job sites. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
