Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our Superior Pocahontas Construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. Responsibilities

Perform trim and frame carpentry tasks, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute projects accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks, including but not limited to fixture installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, and siding. Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and masonry work as needed. Conduct heavy lifting and assist with the movement of materials on-site. Collaborate with team members on restoration projects, including water damage restoration and mold remediation. Execute flooring installation, tile laying, and roofing tasks as required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields. Familiarity with construction estimating and project planning. Strong skills in woodworking, fabrication, caulking, stucco application, and metal stud framing. Ability to operate CNC machinery for specific projects is a plus. Experience with plumbing or electrical tasks is desirable but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods is essential. Previous construction site experience is preferred.
