Job opportunity for an Experienced Carpenter / Laborer

*Fast-growing, highly reputable company focused on construction, remodeling, painting, handyman work. Primary role of this job opportunity is as a Carpenter / Handyman.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Handyman to join our dynamic remodeling/renovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and general home improvement, with the ability to handle a variety of tasks in residential and some commercial settings. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about transforming spaces, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete small to medium repairs, remodeling, and home improvement projects, including carpentry, some drywall, painting if needed, insulation, siding installation/repair, some light framing and door/trim installation. Minor plumbing skills is a plus. If necessary, read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and install wood and other materials for structures and fixtures. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace; adhere to safe practices. Communicate effectively with customers regarding scope of work and project progress. Lead and coach other workers when necessary. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Deliver a consistent and remarkably better customer experience.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a handyman or carpenter. Strong multi-skill background; must have a good amount of your own tools suitable for various job types. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Professional appearance and demeanor; valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a working phone. Must have effective verbal communication skills in English to collaborate with team members, interpret project instructions, and interact with clients and supervisors on job sites. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive Pay - $27-$50 per hour based on experience and skill level. PTO is offered after 2 months Opportunities for career growth and advancement. Potential for company vehicle in the future.

*Hours per week: full time and part time. M-F 8am-4pm with OT opportunities.
