We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in various carpentry and construction tasks, demonstrating expertise in both residential and commercial projects. We will also be doing exterior work like soffit ,fascia, and all siding. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.
Responsibilities
Perform trim and frame carpentry tasks with precision and skill.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute projects accurately.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
Assist in concrete forming, plastering, and rebar installation as needed.
Engage in woodworking, including cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
Conduct restoration work including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general repairs.
Participate in roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry projects.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills
Proficient in construction estimating and planning for various projects.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and metal stud framing.
Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
Experience with fabrication processes and assembly tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required on job sites.
Knowledge of construction painting techniques and maintenance person skills.
Previous experience in the restoration industry is a plus.
