We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter / Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, experience with various tools and techniques, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on-site. This position offers opportunities for growth and skill development within the construction and restoration industries.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project requirements accurately Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, roofing, drywall installation (including plastering), and flooring installation Conduct restoration tasks such as water damage remediation, mold remediation, and general building restoration Install fixtures, caulking, stucco, metal studs, and other building components as needed Handle heavy lifting and perform demolition or removal work safely on construction sites Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols Assist with plumbing, electrical work, remodeling projects, tile laying, water damage restoration, and other specialized tasks as required

Experience

Prior experience in construction site environments is highly preferred Knowledge of construction estimating is a plus Experience with framing carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall finishing, roofing, or cabinetry is desirable Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is beneficial Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication techniques required Industry-specific experience such as restoration industry experience or siding installation is advantageous Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on multiple types of projects including remodeling or repair work Valid experience in plumbing or electrical trades is a plus but not mandatory Previous maintenance person experience or working in the restoration industry will be considered an asset
This position requires a dedicated individual capable of working independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality craftsmanship across diverse projects. Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their skills through relevant experience or certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
