Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter / Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices, demonstrating proficiency in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires a hands-on approach to building, repairing, and maintaining structures while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, and fixture installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Assist in concrete forming, masonry, and roofing projects as needed. Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation efforts when required. Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor to support project completion. Collaborate with team members on construction site activities while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Provide maintenance person services including plumbing, electrical work, and flooring installation as necessary. Participate in remodeling projects that may involve cabinet installation, door hanging, or tile laying.

Skills

Proficient in construction estimating and project planning. Strong knowledge of trim carpentry, frame carpentry, woodworking, and fabrication techniques. Experience with caulking, stucco application, siding installation, and plastering methods. Familiarity with rebar installation and metal stud framing practices. Ability to operate CNC machinery for precise manufacturing tasks. Knowledge of construction painting techniques for finishing touches on projects. Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot on-site challenges effectively.
