Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to commercial build-outs, utilizing a wide range of carpentry and construction skills. Responsibilities

Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring accuracy and adherence to blueprints and schematics Perform trim carpentry tasks including baseboards, crown molding, door casings, and custom fixtures with precision and attention to detail Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing projects to support structural integrity Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project specifications effectively Install doors, windows, siding, cabinets, fixtures, and other building components according to project plans Conduct restoration work such as water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, mold remediation, and general repair tasks Fabricate custom woodwork or metal components as needed using woodworking tools Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique during material transport or assembly tasks Perform demolition or removal of existing structures when necessary for remodeling or restoration projects Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of debris in compliance with safety standards Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while upholding quality standards

Requirements

Proven experience in construction site environments with a strong background in carpentry disciplines such as framing, trim carpentry, roofing, siding installation, or cabinetry Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and remediation equipment preferred Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, plumbing or electrical experience is advantageous Familiarity with restoration industry practices including water damage repair and mold remediation is desirable Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of construction work Valid driver's license required; reliable transportation required for job site access Professional customer interaction is must

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
