ValKen Construction is a small but growing semi-custom building company committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and excellent service. We specialize in residential new builds and remodeling. We're looking for skilled carpenter's and carpenter apprentice to join our dynamic team.

We are seeking reliable and experienced carpenter's and carpenter apprentice with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to help us build and maintain structures, frameworks, and other wood-based projects. You will work closely with our team to ensure that every project is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Construct, install, and repair frameworks, structures, and other wooden components on construction sites Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine work requirements Measure and cut wood, and other materials to fit project specifications Install doors, windows, and cabinetry but not limited to these Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with other construction workers and supervisors to complete projects efficiently Must be able to work independently within a structured environment Able to lift and carry building materials etc. Self-motivated Detail oriented Willing to work and collaborate together as a team in a professional manner

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience as a carpenter or in a similar construction role Proficient with carpentry tools and equipment Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards Good communication and teamwork skills Physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday thru Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Weekends available for overtime

Work Location:

Location varies throughout Goffstown, New Boston, Weare, Manchester, Bedford, Dunbarton and surrounding areas.
