Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and comfort, and promoting their overall well-being. This role requires a patient and empathetic individual who can work effectively with people with disabilities and various health conditions.

Duties

Monitor the health and well-being of clients, providing direct support as needed. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Administer basic first aid and CPR when required. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and any changes in condition. Document care provided and report any concerns or observations to the appropriate personnel.

Experience

Previous experience in home care or as a caregiver is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous. Skills in social work or related fields are a plus. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Ability to lift patients safely and assist them in mobility tasks is essential. A compassionate demeanor combined with strong interpersonal skills is crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
