Summary

As a Home Health Aide at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to clients in their homes. This position is essential for ensuring that individuals can maintain their dignity and independence while receiving the compassionate care they deserve. We are looking to expand into the Evergreen area and are looking to hire caregivers that live nearby.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical equipment when necessary. Support clients with mobility and physical exercises to promote independence. Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle that is insured are required.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient observation techniques is beneficial. Ability to work independently while following established protocols.
