We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home health, assisted living, nursing homes, and community care environments. Prior experience in senior care, dementia or Alzheimer's care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Duties
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and behavioral changes while adhering to HIPAA regulations
Administer medications and assist with medication management according to care plans
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a caring environment
Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices
Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning duties
Observe and report any changes in health status or safety concerns to healthcare professionals or supervisors
Follow established care plans and protocols for residents with specific needs such as dementia or memory care
Assist with transportation to appointments or community activities as needed
Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times during caregiving activities
Requirements
Prior experience in senior care, home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are highly desirable; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
Ability to monitor vital signs and recognize signs of medical emergencies
Experience assisting with ADLs and providing patient care in various settings
Ability to lift heavy loads safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude toward residents and their families
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; some positions may require working evenings or weekends depending on the facility's needs
Valid driver's license may be required for transportation duties
