Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and support in various settings, including homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks aimed at ensuring the well-being and comfort of those you care for.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Assist clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical well-being. Provide care for individuals with specific needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or developmental disabilities. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable; certification is a plus. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in client conditions promptly. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism or developmental disabilities. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital sign assessment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Understanding of meal preparation and dietary restrictions for various health conditions. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in diverse settings.
