Assisting Hands home care is looking for part time caregivers to join our team. If you are reliable, compassionate, and have a true heart for helping others help us make a diffrence in someones life.

If you have hospice experience, are comfortbale with Hoyer lift/ trasfering, and can commit to consistent weekend shifts, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care for a hospice patient Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming Offer medication reminders Plan and prepare nutritious meals Provide emotional support and companionship Follow hospice care plans and collaborate with the care team

Requirements

Experience with hospice clients (required) Proficiency using a Hoyer lift (required) Strong communication skills Reliable, professional, and compassionate Must be available one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) for a 12-hour shift Must be okay with pets (cats + dogs)

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
