Responsibilities:

Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents. Remind clients to take prescribed medication. Help with mobility Plan and prepare meals Assist clients with errands including outings, grocery shopping, etc. Perform light housekeeping duties Report any changes in condition/ Advocate for clients Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Encourage activities/exercises that are essential for daily living Provide safety supervision

Requirements:

High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate 18 Years or Older Six months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care (in homes or facilities) Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job Have a valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
