About the Role
Senior Helpers of North Valley is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide
companionship, standby assistance, and light cooking
for a male client. This role focuses onengagement, safety, and comfort
, not heavy lifting or clinical tasks.Key Responsibilities
Provide companionship and emotional support Standby assistance during mobility (be present and attentive)
Prepare simple, healthy meals -- basic cooking required
Light household tidying and organization Medication reminders (no administration) Pleasant conversation, walks, hobbies, board games, or other activities client enjoys Create a respectful, calm, and positive environmentRequirements
English & Spanish speaking required
Prior caregiving or companion care experience preferred Comfortable with simple cooking / meal prep Patient, professional, and reliableHome Care Aide (HCA) Registration preferred

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
