We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities and fostering a supportive environment.
Duties
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide personal care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors and those with disabilities.
Monitor patients' health by observing their conditions and reporting any changes or concerns.
Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of patient care plans.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and cooking according to dietary requirements.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely when assisting clients with mobility challenges.
Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Skills
First aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
Experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred.
Knowledge of memory care techniques and experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia is beneficial.
Strong patient observation skills to monitor vital signs and detect changes in health status.
Ability to assist with heavy lifting when necessary for patient mobility support.
Familiarity with care plans and direct support practices for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
