Job Description

Spring Gardens Senior Living is hiring an experience, compassionate, and diligent individual to serve as the Care Manager for our beautiful community in Meridian, ID.


Our Care Manager s responsible for the overseeing the clinical department and management of the care team. The Care Manager reports directly to the Executive Director of the community.

Duties & Responsibilities



Maintain a high degree of resident satisfaction through consistent delivery of high-quality services Act as the contact for all issues related to resident care Understand the community's care regulations along with state-specific regulations Provides activities of daily assistance to the residents as needed Provide training and orientation to all Caregivers and Med Techs Maintain current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses, in accordance with company, Federal, State, and local requirements Oversee all hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and termination of employment of employees in the clinical department with attention paid to consistency in the selection and retention of quality personnel Supervise, develop, and schedule the care staff according to the company's policies, procedures, and standards Ensure resident records and charting is current and up to date, including service plans. assists with move in/move out and manages the health care of residents, including the dissemination of information to families and team members. Treats all residents with dignity and respect. Promotes and protects all residents' rights. Collaborates with members of the team, physicians, medical practitioners, consultants, and community partners such as Home Health Care, Hospice, Therapy, Skilled Providers, etc. to identify and resolve issues and improve resident quality of services. Creates an environment that avoids risks of accidents and embraces safety. Participates in life safety and emergency drills and training. Fulfills responsibilities as assigned during implementation or activation of the community's emergency plan. Participates in Quality Management Monitors, assists and implements infection control in accordance to guidelines, regulation, and orders to treat infection and prevent transmission of disease and infection. Participates in budget development for the Care department, medical, nursing and central supplies.

Qualifications



Positive team player attitude and a love for working with people. A valid caregivers certificate. Trained on medication passing. Previous administrative experience in Senior Living, prefer a minimum of 2 years. Knowledge of various computer systems. A high degree of accuracy in all assignments; ability to manage time effectively, work with numerous interruptions, strength in showing initiative, good judgment; employs professional ethics; has a pleasant manner, good communication skills, and the ability to motivate Fingerprint Clearance Card
