Job Description

Karing Hearts Cardiology is currently seeking employment of a full time Stress Lab Nurse (LPN or RN will be considered) for our Johnson City practice. General duties include:

Review patient's chart prior to patient appointment time

Pre-screen each patient undergoing diagnostic stress testing

Ensure patient consent has been obtained and documented prior to performing testing

Prepare patient for testing: starting IVs as necessary and placing monitoring equipment

Directly assess, evaluate, and monitor patients during cardiac stress testing

Evaluate electrocardiograms and recognize changes, abnormalities, and arrhythmias

Collaborate with physicians and report significant changes as needed based on patient's status prior to, during, and after stress testing

Administer medications as ordered

Ensure proper supplies are stocked and request supplies be ordered as needed

Prepares preliminary reports for final interpretation by the cardiologist

Experience in Cardiac Stress Testing is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
