Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months of separation from employment.



Full Time (36 hrs); Day Shift



Summary:



Working under the direction of the Cardio Pulmonary Manager/Supervisor, the Echo Tech is responsible for administering or assisting medical staff with the following diagnostic tests: Echocardiogram, M-mode, 2D, Doppler, stress echo, contrast bubble studies, and TEE's at MMC Biddeford and MMC Biddeford Cardiology.



Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)



Education: Knowledge of Cardiac anatomy and physiology as well as procedures and equipment at a level generally acquired through completion of an approved program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred. License/Certifications: BLS Certification required. Experience: Minimum of six to twelve months of experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience preferred. Previous experience in 2-D echo, Exercise and Chemical Stress echo and TEE's is desirable. Must be board registered within 1 year in Adult Echocardiography.
