Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to our Diagnostic Cardiology Department at our Heart Center in Downtown Jacksonville.

This is a PRN opportunity offering various day shifts between 6:30 am and 5 pm. Call NOT required.

We are seeking someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and a commitment to patient care and safety. This Sonographer will operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2-D or 3-D images of the heart and will also help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients.

As a Cardiac Echo Sonographer, you will be responsible for:

Providing diagnostic examinations of the heart using Ultrasound techniques. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care Reviewing and recording cases. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and high-quality images Providing as-needed backup to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department. Assist the working physicians in diagnosing heart problems in patients.

This Cardiac Echo Sonographer will be located at Baptist Downtown.
