Sonny's Car Wash is now seeking candidates to join our team in Winthrop! Work outside at our busy state-of-the-art conveyorized tunnel car wash located on Main Street, Winthrop! Customers pay the attendant and remain in their cars while they go through our car wash.

One full time position is available. We are currently seeking someone to work an 32-48 hours per week.

Our team members are a key part to our customer's satisfaction. We want our clients to have the cleanest vehicle possible in the quickest amount of time. Team members are responsible for making sure the vehicle is properly guided onto our conveyor system, assisting customers who have questions regarding our service and are responsible for making sure our facility is neat and clean at all times. This ensures our customer's entire experience is satisfactory until they leave our facility. Additional responsibilities include: Learning to troubleshoot, maintain and repair mechanical equipment. Learning the cost, description & associated equipment of each service we offer. Keeping our work environment safe by following procedures and taking a proactive approach to safety. Working with a POS system. Interfacing with computers and other digital systems. Taking initiative to complete various daily tasks. Opening and/or Closing a facility as per our standard operating procedures. Eagerness to continue learning, growing and improving your career with us here. We are open seven days a week from 7am-8pm. Working Conditions All work performed will be done outside in all types of weather Moving vehicles heighten safety concerns, must stay alert and aware of surroundings Daily disposal of trash & debris from property grounds, drainage pits, bathroom and tunnel. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Mobility, nimbleness, and the ability to bend, stoop and reach in all areas and lift up to 50lbs. Compensation Hourly - $17-20/hr (based on previous experience and references) Opportunity for hourly wage increase after 90 day performance review and completion of written assessment. Prerequisite: Mandatory Ability to interface with modern technology Ability to read & write Reliable transportation Flexible Schedule Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run Preferred Experience Preferred but not required Experience opening/closing a store Professionally Operated Conveyorized Car Wash Experience Proven troubleshooting skills Customer Service Experience Experience Working Outdoors Mechanically Inclined High School Diploma Job Type: Part Time Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 /hour
