Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing surfaces on vehicles and other equipment, ensuring high-quality results. This role requires a strong understanding of auto body repair, auto painting techniques, and the use of various tools and equipment. The Painter will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional service and maintain the appearance and integrity of vehicles or machinery.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure proper adhesion Apply paint using airless spray guns, power tools, or brushes with precision and attention to detail Perform auto body repairs including buffing, auto glass replacement, and detailing as needed Operate welding equipment and perform minor mechanical repairs when necessary Assist with vehicle maintenance and restoration projects, including auto estimating and heavy lifting Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials Inspect finished work for quality control, ensuring smooth finishes and proper color matching Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and uphold safety standards

Experience

Dealership experience is highly desirable Proven experience in auto body repair, auto painting, or vehicle restoration Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying, buffing machines, and other relevant equipment Knowledge of welding techniques and mechanical systems related to vehicle maintenance Familiarity with auto glass installation, detailing, and auto estimating processes Experience working with auto body repair shops or automotive dealerships is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various stages of repair or restoration projects

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
