Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Porter to join our team. The Lot Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our vehicle lot, ensuring that all cars are presented in excellent condition for our customers. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Detail all vehicles (wash/run through car wash, vacuum, remove sales stickers, shine tires, etc.)

Run sales lot vehicles through the car wash on a regular basis/vacuum if necessary

Touch up minor paint corrections

Maintain sales lot appearance ensuring cars are parked correctly/uniformly, current prices are displayed, pick up any trash, etc.

Make sure all sales lot vehicles have enough fuel/battery charge

Remove snow from the sales lot vehicles

Take vehicles to the dealer (recalls, service, etc.) for the sales department if needed

Assists with the check-in and moving of new vehicle inventory as needed

Take photos of vehicles

Completes vehicle inspection to ensure vehicles do not have any damage

Cropping and editing of vehicle photos

Uploading photos of vehicles using dealership software

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Skills in car detailing, including washing, buffing, and cleaning techniques are advantageous. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for this position. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
