This position combines fire service response with leadership in human resources, employee engagement, and administrative support. Responsibilities include responding to emergency / non-emergency incidents; leading recruitment, selection, and employee retention; oversee benefits, payroll, onboarding, and employee relations; manage health, wellness, and recognition programs; collaborate with command staff and city HR on policies and compliance; support firefighter and officer promotional processes. This full-time, non-exempt position includes a comprehensive benefits package with health insurance; PERA; paid vacation and sick leave; comp time; overtime eligibility; additional benefits.
