Description:

The Flex Campus Safety Associate plays a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors on campus. This individual responds to evening and overnight concerns, while knowing College resources and who to delegate the concerns to for a timely and appropriate response.

There will be no set schedule for this position; it will be a flexible role and hours will vary based on Central College needs.

Responsibilities include:

Lock and unlock campus buildings according to campus and events schedules. Respond to emergency situations routed through the information center and forward messages to the appropriate individual. Respond to fire and other mechanical alarms.

Requirements:
High School diploma. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work with students, faculty and staff representing diverse backgrounds and interests. Ability to work independently. * Flexible on-call schedule including overnight shifts between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
