Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with the ability to create visually stunning designs that delight our customers. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all cakes are decorated to the highest standards while adhering to food safety regulations.

Duties

Decorate cakes using various techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing. Prepare and assemble cake components, ensuring quality and consistency in all products. Package finished cakes for display and delivery, maintaining presentation standards. Collaborate with the baking team to ensure timely production of cakes for orders and events. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selections and custom orders. Stay updated on current trends in cake decorating and baking techniques.

Experience

Proven experience in cake decorating is required; pastry experience is a plus. Familiarity with food production and preparation processes in a kitchen environment. Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling practices are essential. Previous experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred, particularly in catering or restaurant settings. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
