GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION \xc2\xb7 Responsible for all aspects of the Caf\xc3\xa9 operations including entertainment, food, beverage, attractions and property inspections. \xc2\xb7 Cultivates a team environment that provides exceptional customer service while directing the team and ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level. \xc2\xb7 Leads and influences staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum productivity. \xc2\xb7 Monitor staff performance and interactions \xc2\xb7 Assist in hiring, retention of staff, coaching, discipline; ensures execution of staff training programs. \xc2\xb7 Select, develop staff and trainers for more responsibility or internal promotability into a leadership program. \xc2\xb7 Assists with inventory and controlling expenses. \xc2\xb7 Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for all guests and staff. \xc2\xb7 Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to Urban Air operating standards and philosophies. \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED \xc2\xb7 High School Diploma required; some College preferred \xc2\xb7 1-2 years of Food Service Supervisory level experience \xc2\xb7 Proven conflict management skills \xc2\xb7 Legally able to work in the United States \xc2\xb7 Able to work a varied schedule including weekends, nights, and holiday \xc2\xb7 Hours: 20 hours minimum up to 45+ depending on business needs. \xc2\xb7 Must be able to communicate clearly with fellow Management, Staff, and Guests \xc2\xb7 Maintain professional appearance. \xc2\xb7 Must be at least 18 years of age. At least 21 years of age preferred. \xc2\xb7 Ability to pass a background-check as prescribed by Urban Air Adventure Park. \xc2\xb7 Ability to obtain Food Handler certification, Basic First Aid Certification, & online Urban Air Training Programs prior to position start. \xc2\xb7 Computer Skills a must \xe2\x80\x94 Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). \xc2\xb7 Adaptability, flexibility, general enthusiasm for the business. \xc2\xb7 Willing to learn and adapt to changes or challenges. \xc2\xb7 Ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management, and vendors. \xc2\xb7 Exercises good judgment in decision making. \xc2\xb7 Appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.) \xc2\xb7 We work when others play!
