Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled individual with a passion for jewelry design and proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) technologies to join our team. As a CAD/CAM Technician, you will be at the forefront of transforming creative jewelry designs into tangible pieces through digital modeling and manufacturing processes..

Responsibilities:

Utilize CAD software to create 3D models of jewelry designs based on specifications Collaborate with design teams to refine and modify digital models as needed Generate CAM toolpaths for manufacturing processes such as milling, 3D printing, and laser cutting Conduct quality control checks on prototypes and finished pieces to ensure accuracy and integrity Maintain CAD/CAM software and equipment to optimize performance Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD/CAM technology

Qualifications:

Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino 3D, Matrix or similar programs Experience with CAM software and machine operation for Jewelry manufacturing processes Strong understanding of jewelry design principles and manufacturing techniques Detail oriented with the abilitiy to interpret design principals Understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing techniques Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team environment Previous experience in CAD design and tooling is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
