$18.00 - $21.00/hour (negotiable based on experience)

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

We are seeking an enthusiastic CAD programmer eager to develop a range of office skills beyond CAD programming. This role provides opportunities for growth in both technical and administrative responsibilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Create detailed CAD drawings for CNC waterjet operations Efficiently use CAD shortcuts and create reusable blocks Generate accurate customer layouts and shop drawings based on field measurements, specifications, and project requirements Measure and create production templates to ensure accurate fabrication and proper fit Generate customer quotes and process orders Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries General office duties including filing and product ordering

Qualifications:

Certificate or practical experience in 2D CAD software (minimum 1 year required) Familiarity with CAD shortcuts and creating blocks preferred Previous customer service experience is beneficial Good mathematical abilities Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Must be fluent in English (reading and speaking required) Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (cannabis is omitted) and background check Willingness to handle various office responsibilities beyond CAD tasks
