Job Summary

Thunder Struck Bumpers is a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty Grille Guards, Front Bumper Replacements, Rear Bumpers, and additional accessories for full-size trucks.

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics that support our engineering and design projects. This role requires proficiency in various CAD software and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all designs.

Duties

Generate DXF files for laser cutting and STP files for beam processing. Develop detailed schematics and technical drawings using CAD software, AutoCAD. Collaborate with the Sales Department to assist with projects. Create 3D models and visualizations using tools such as SolidWorks. Make revisions to existing drawings based on feedback from team members or clients. Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, BobCAD, and NCELL. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fluency in 3D modeling software Background working in the metal fabrication industry Strong math and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. A degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related discipline is a plus. The ability to work independently and stay organized with minimal supervision; self motivated
