CAD Designer/Field Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our engineers to design, draft, review, and evaluate engineering plan sets

Create Civil Engineering drawing using AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation

Prepare report figures for projects

Write related technical documents such as material list and cost estimates

Ensure all drawings are accurate and meet industry standard

Maintain a library of standard drawing templates

Ability and desire to inspect construction projects to verify they are being constructed per plans and specifications

Willingness to get material testing certifications ACI concrete testing as well as nuclear densometer certification

Qualifications:

Related experience

Professional certification such as ADDA and CADD

Experience in using AutoCAD (Preferable Civil 3D) and/or MicroStation software

Excellent verbal and written communication

Knowledge of 3D and 2D modeling tools preferred

Knowledge of Engineering practices and industry standards

Construction experience
