This is a Cactus position and is located in Hobbs, NM.






Job Summary

The goal of this position is to ensure that company's facilities are well cared for and adequate to support the company's business operations in accordance with API-Q2 regulations.


Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.


Practices safe work habits and complies with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations. Understand and have the ability to translate API-Q2 standards to accommodate the day-to-day operations within Cactus. Supervises department personnel including interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, coaching, counseling, and corrective action when required. Plans and coordinates personnel work schedules and assignments to ensure production goals are met. Assembles daily Repair Router Packets utilizing the correct routers and PM forms as well as oversees work being performed and required information is completed. Ensure maintenance procedures are implemented and followed by the department. Monitors Calibrated Tools and Equipment Tool Crib. Ensure tools, equipment, and inventory used by the department to assemble products are available, maintained and operate in accordance with established policies and procedures. Performs a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance, as well as preventative and predictive maintenance work on service tools and equipment. Interprets complex maintenance manuals, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine repair and troubleshooting procedures. Disassembles, adjusts, repairs, replaces, and proves out maintenance operations on a diversified line of work, including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and tool repair. Assigns qualified maintenance associates. Determines if new maintenance associate (SSE) can be assigned with veteran service associate to gain OJT. Follows lockout tag out procedures. Inspects tools and equipment prior to shipping. Performs all functional responsibilities of a service associate. Special projects or assignments as directed by management. Position will require a rotational schedule based on the needs of the business and branch

Education, Training, Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

None required.


Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:



Working knowledge of Cactus Wellhead Products Service Documentation and Record Keeping Wellhead and Valve Installation, Operation, and Maintenance, Corrective Action and Field Complaint Investigations. Equipment Troubleshooting of Cactus Wellhead and Other OEM Equipment Customer Service Best Practices. Intermediate Computer Skills Advanced Mathematical and Language Skills and Advanced Reasoning Ability.



Supervisory Responsibilities

Assist the Maintenance Manager supervise a team of maintenance personnel. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.

This position operates in an industrial/field environment. The role requires working in and around manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials. While performing the duties of this job, the employee:
