Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented Cable/Harness Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling electrical cables and harnesses, ensuring they meet strict quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, soldering, and interpreting schematics. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision and quality in electronic component manufacturing.

Responsibilities



High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience in complex cable harness assembly in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred Assemble electrical cables and harnesses according to detailed schematics and technical drawings Able to cuts, strips, crimps cable Able to work with epoxies and adhesives Routes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippers Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other machining equipment to prepare and assemble parts Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for proper assembly procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols Solder components using IPC 610 standards, ensuring high-quality connections is highly desirable but not required Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

Experience



Prior experience in manufacturing or electronic assembly is preferred Build conforming products by following detailed work instructions, blueprints, and production documents Perform precision assembly tasks including soldering, crimping, wire termination, and harness routing Ensure quality is built into the product by reviewing all documentation, performing self-inspections, and maintaining rigorous labor standards Collaborate with Quality Control to present products for in-process inspection and final inspection Perform rework on any identified non-conforming products and re-submit for inspection Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately is essential
