Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with experience in cabinet fabrication assembly and design would be a bonus. This is a cabinet assembly position but a working knowledge of other areas of cabinet construction is a bonus. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work with various materials and tools. The Cabinet Maker will be responsible for creating high-quality cabinetry that meets our clients' specifications and standards. Pay based on experience.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials Fabricate cabinets, and other custom wood products according to design specifications. Perform trim carpentry tasks including touch ups on smaller installations. Collaborate with team members on construction projects while maintaining a clean and safe work environment Handle necessary lifting as required during the fabrication and installation processes. We use delivery services and contract installations for most jobs.

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or a related field Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and woodworking machinery Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately Have a basic understanding of cabinet installation, trim carpentry, framing carpentry, and fixture installation Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.67 - $28.50 per hour
