We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler/Punch technician to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing cabinets with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality cabinetry solutions for residential, commercial, or restoration projects. Duties
Assemble cabinet components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment, ensuring all parts fit accurately and meet quality standards
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly and installation processes
Install cabinets, fixtures, doors, siding, and related hardware on construction sites or in manufacturing environments
Perform punch work--finishing tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, sanding, and touch-up to achieve a polished final product
Conduct heavy lifting of cabinet parts and materials safely to facilitate efficient assembly and installation
Assist with framing, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, and other related tasks as needed
Support restoration projects involving water damage remediation, mold remediation, or structural repairs by fabricating or installing cabinetry components
Use schematics and technical instructions to ensure precise fabrication of custom pieces using CNC machinery or other fabrication tools
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or in manufacturing facilities
Collaborate with team members on project timelines and quality control measures to ensure timely completion of tasks
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction estimating, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, or cabinetry installation preferred
Proficiency with hand tools (saws, drills, screwdrivers), power tools (routers, sanders), and CNC machinery for fabrication tasks
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to cabinetry and construction projects
Experience with various construction trades including roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, flooring installation, tile laying, and metal stud framing is a plus
Knowledge of restoration industry practices such as water damage restoration or mold remediation is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during assembly or installation processes
Familiarity with fixture installation--including doors, siding panels, water damage repairs--and general maintenance person skills
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on job sites or in manufacturing settings
Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding project specifications
Prior experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments is highly desirable
