The Meat Cutter will play a crucial role in maintaining the freshness and presentation of our products.

Responsibilities

Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications and customer requests Ensure all meat is handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area Package meat products for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and pricing Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment

Skills

Proficient in meat cutting techniques with a strong understanding of various cuts of meat Experience in the kitchen or food production environment, preferably within the culinary field Strong knife skills and familiarity with food handling practices Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
