Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area. As a Busser, you will assist servers and contribute to the overall efficiency of restaurant operations, embodying our commitment to outstanding hospitality.

Duties

Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere for new patrons. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed, demonstrating excellent teamwork. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, windows, and restrooms, to uphold high standards of hygiene. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest needs promptly. Utilize the Aloha POS system for efficient table management and order processing when required. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as necessary, ensuring that all service areas are well-equipped. Provide exceptional guest services by being attentive to customer needs and responding positively to requests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but can be learned on the job. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. A commitment to providing excellent food service and helping others within the team and for our guests. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and resetting tables efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $16.38 per hour

Work Location: In person
