Gardens Pizza & Pasta is dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences through great food and outstanding service. We're seeking a motivated Busser/Food Runner to join our team and help keep our restaurant running smoothly during peak service hours.

Position Overview:

In this crucial role, you'll be the extra set of hands our team needs to maintain a clean, efficient dining environment and ensure prompt delivery of orders. You'll work Thursday through Sunday, starting with dinner shifts at 5pm, and may also support early Saturday and Sunday brunch shifts. If you excel under pressure, are detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced team setting, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Bussing & Cleaning:

Clear tables, reset dining areas, and ensure overall cleanliness of the restaurant.

Sweep and maintain tidy service areas during and after peak times.

Food Running:

Deliver orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately.

Read and interpret tickets to ensure orders are complete and correct.

Team Support:

Assist during busy shifts by jumping between bussing and food running as needed.

Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain service excellence.

Stay focused on job duties by minimizing personal cell phone usage during shifts.

Uniform & Presentation:

Adhere to our uniform standards: clean and neat black slacks, non-slip shoes, and a long-sleeve polo-style shirt or our supplied t-shirt.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience as a busser, food runner, or in a similar role is preferred--but we're willing to train the right candidate.

Skills & Attributes:

Exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure.

Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Reliable availability for Thursday-Sunday shifts (dinner shifts starting at 5pm and possible brunch shifts on weekends).
