Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Busser/Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality, with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, customer interaction, and restaurant or hotel operations.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service at the cashier station Handle cash register operations accurately and efficiently Assist with cleaning tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Support food service staff by delivering orders and assisting with food handling as needed Ensure all dining areas are tidy and organized for guests' comfort Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant or hotel operations Follow health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation standards Assist with catering events or special functions when required

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality is preferred, but not required. Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with customers and team members Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards is a plus Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently and maintain cleanliness standards Experience in bussing tables or serving in a restaurant environment is advantageous Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed

Pay: $9.50 - $10.00 per hour
