Job Summary

Now accepting applications from motivated and dedicated individuals for Bussers for our organization. American Legion Apache Post 27 provides services to military veterans and their families including a place to build community, socialize, have a good meal and enjoy a variety of entertainment. The positions offered are Seasonal beginning mid to late September through the end of April. Responsibilities

Bussers move back and forth throughout the dining areas attending to diners and assisting waitstaff with their duties. The Busser's duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments Refilling water dispenser Bringing out meal orders when waitstaff are busy Assist with sidework as needed Collaborate with team members to achieve organization goals and objectives. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the position. Maintain a positive attitude while providing exceptional service to clients and customers. Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies at all times. Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well in a team environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in bar/restaurant food service is preferred but not required; we welcome entry-level candidates as well. A willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges as they arise. Food Handler Certification required.

Pay: $14.70 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
