As an IT Business Systems Analyst you will be responsible for ownership of a suite of business applications defining application roadmap to meet the long-term strategic business objectives. In this role you will work with customers in gathering requirements, prioritizing them and working with developers and software architects in implementing the features on the roadmap.

What you\'ll do:

  • Partner with functional leaders in prioritizing the requirements and work with Project Managers to prioritize project executions and implement technical solutions to meet the business needs.
  • Partner with the Software Architects to upgrade, optimize and implement robust secure by design architecture to meet the information security needs of the future.
  • Provide technical solutions to business problems and provide estimates on software design, development and testing activities to the project manager.
  • Develop and maintain prioritized backlog of business requirements for implementation.
  • Work with Enterprise Architecture, Technology Solutions and Security teams to ensure that they understand the roadmap for your applications and balance the needs for great features with sound application architecture and performance.
  • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for requirements so that they are clearly understood by the development teams
  • Partner with M&A teams in rationalizing the technology stack from the acquired companies and create a roadmap to integrate with StandardAero enterprise technology stack.
  • Modify existing systems or create new software solutions that are complementary to the established ERP system either for reporting and/or tracking production or support functions.
  • Liaison with the functional and technical teams as the owner for these applications in all aspects of support, development and ongoing software upgrades.
What skills you will require:
  • Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Technology
  • At least 3 years\' Systems Business Analyst experience, working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP system technology, and deep business understanding of ERP domains
  • Experience in Agile, DevOps and other software development tools
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skill
  • Strong experience in the implementation of web applications leveraging modern design principles and frameworks
Preferred:
  • Experience building code in SQL, Javascript and/or HTML languages is a plus.
