Komline is looking for a Business Operations Associate to support our business units at our Komline-Sparta location. This position works with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure efficient operation of production processes while supporting company goals and initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze demand forecasts and determine required production levels ensuring smooth flow of materials for production
Reviews inventory transactions, monitors discrepancies, and value of processed parts
Coordinates with sales to prioritize and schedule customer orders
Works with the team to monitor processes and identify potential production disruptions
Collects and analyzes production data reporting on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other KPIs for reporting
Creates, manages, releases and processes job orders and job order routings in collaboration with sales, production, and other cross functional teams
Modifies job bills of material in coordination with sales, production, engineering, and procurement
Prepares, reviews and disseminates various reports regarding the status of the sales backlog
Using lean manufacturing principles, recommends improvements to enhance team performance
Assists the engineering department implement part revision changes
Works with other departments to identify and resolve issues with deadstock
Manages the WIP (Work In Process) accounts in coordination with the accounting department
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree preferred and 2 yrs experience in Production Control or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience utilizing an ERP system to monitor production and run reports
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills to disseminate information to all levels of individuals
Ability to juggle competing priorities and complete tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Primary work location must be at Komline-FluidQuip Sparta NJ Location
Ability to sit, stand, stoop, working primarily in an office environment and traversing manufacturing environments
Use of hands and dexterity for data entry and vision for deciphering systems and reports
Ability to communicate effectively written and verbal
