As a key strategic and technical contributor, the Business Intelligence Manager will lead the development and execution of data-driven initiatives that improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer service. This hands-on role will build and oversee scalable BI solutions that unify reporting, surface key trends, and enable data accessibility across the organization. Additionally, it will serve as a key steward for data governance, including data accuracy, consistency, and security--especially with respect to regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with bank leadership to define critical metrics and reporting priorities across departments (e.g., branch performance, loan growth, deposit trends, risk indicators).
Develop and implement a BI roadmap aligned with the bank's strategic plan and regulatory environment.
Promote a culture of data literacy and empower business units to use self-service analytics tools responsibly.
Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Provide timely analysis and insight into key business areas: loan pipeline, customer segmentation, branch performance, digital engagement, etc.
Prepare ad hoc and recurring reports for the executive team, board, regulators, and auditors.
Facilitate regular data reconciliation efforts between core systems and analytics platforms to ensure uniformity in key metrics.
Help standardize report templates and KPI calculations across business units for consistent executive and board reporting.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
5+ years of BI or analytics experience in a financial institution; community/regional bank experience strongly preferred.
Track record of designing and delivering impactful reporting tools and data strategies at scale.

Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency with BI platforms.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
Understanding of data pipeline/ETL concepts and tools used in community bank environments.
Experience with banking systems such as Jack Henry SilverLake or similar core processors.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
