About the Role:




The Business Development role at DTI Trucks is pivotal in driving the company's growth and expanding its market presence within the commercial truck and equipment industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships that align with the company's objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to market research and competitive analysis to tailor solutions that meet customer needs and enhance revenue streams. The individual will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives. Ultimately, this position aims to increase the company's market share and profitability by fostering sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the commercial truck or equipment industry. Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience working in the heavy equipment or transportation sector. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Advanced degree or certifications in business development or sales management. Demonstrated success in developing long-term client partnerships. Knowledge of regional market dynamics specific to Colorado and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:



Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and business development efforts. Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, progress, and forecasts to senior management.
