Position: Business Development Representative
Department: Annuity Marketing
Reporting to: VP of Sales Development
Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Representative to identify and engage potential advisor recruits. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, responsible for uncovering opportunities and setting the stage for our VP of Sales Development. Your efforts will be pivotal in expanding our network and achieving our recruitment goals.

What you'll do:


Generate new relationships with financial advisors by reaching out via cold calls Build a list of qualified contacts through research, warm/cold calls, and emails Develop a working knowledge of our annuity carriers & products Execute marketing campaigns through e-mail, webinars and mail processes Regularly enhancing sales skills through independent learning and collaboration with peers

Experience you'll bring:


Strong time management and scheduling abilities, with a proven capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Outstanding problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail Quick learner of advisor-facing value propositions, with the capability to effectively communicate and advance discussions

Bonus Points:

Previous experience in the financial industry and/or sales experience Bachelor's degree
