About the Role

Were seeking a motivated and results-driven

Business Development Representative

to help expand our maintenance division in the Austin area. This position focuses on identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, preparing and presenting proposals, and coordinating with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience in construction, coatings, or a related industry, and thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new maintenance project opportunities through networking, cold outreach, and industry research. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to generate repeat business. Conduct site visits, perform takeoffs, and prepare detailed proposals outlining scope and recommendations. Present proposals and secure signed contracts or purchase orders. Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure a seamless project handoff and client satisfaction. Track and report on sales activity and progress toward targets. Stay current on market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in business development or sales within the

construction, coatings, or related industry

. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret project scopes and drawings. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience preferred. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a professional demeanor. Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally for site visits.
